ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) is the gold standard in autism assessment that we use to evaluate everyone from children to adults. The goal of the ADOS test is to provide standardized information for the diagnosis of autism in the areas of social behavior, use of vocalizations/speech and gesture in social situations, play and interests.
Structured activities and materials provide standard contexts in which social interactions, communication, and other behaviors relevant to autistic spectrum disorders are observed.
